The Arts Council England’s “Creative People and Places” (CPP) is a funding and engagement program that aims to increase participation in the arts and culture in areas of England where there is traditionally low levels of engagement.

The CPP program supports a range of projects and activities that involve local communities and artists in co-creating and co-producing high-quality arts experiences that are tailored to the specific needs and interests of the local area. The program is designed to put people and communities at the heart of decision-making around arts and cultural activities, and to encourage new and diverse audiences to engage with the arts.

The Arts Council England provides funding to a network of independent organisations across England to deliver CPP projects in their respective regions. These organisations work closely with local communities, artists, and other cultural partners to develop programs and initiatives that reflect the needs and aspirations of the local area.
